For Library Utrecht, I designed lecterns as functional furniture for presentations in the rentable spaces. The challenge was to create a clean, practical design that also has a distinct design presence. The lecterns are foldable, making them easy to move. The design references earlier work I created for the library—two cabinets showcasing photo books—and shares the same color and material choices. As a result, the lecterns visually align with the library’s interior style and reinforce the cohesion between the different designs within this public space.
